Contents
An Act to amend “The Public Trust Office Consolidation Act, 1894.”
BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—
1 Short Title.
The Short Title of this Act is “The Public Trust Office Act, 1901”
; and it shall form part of and be read together with “The Public Trust Office Consolidation Act, 1894”
(hereinafter referred to as “the principal Act”
).
2 Principal Act amended.
The principal Act is hereby amended as follows: As to section twenty-seven thereof, by adding at the end of the proviso the following words: namely, “Provided further that an order of a Judge of the Supreme Court shall not be required when the property to be dealt with under subsections two, three, four, and seven does not exceed the value of two thousand pounds.”
3 “The Public Trust Office Act Amendment Act, 1893,”
amended.
Section eighteen of “The Public Trust Office Act Amendment Act, 1893”
(which section was excepted from repeal and continued in operation by the principal Act), is hereby amended by repealing the word “seven”
in subsection (a) thereof, and substituting in lieu thereof the word “five.”
