An Act to amend “The Pharmacy Act, 1898.”
BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—
1 Short Title.
The Short Title of this Act is “The Pharmacy Act Amendment Act, 1902”
; and it shall form part of and be read together with “The Pharmacy Act, 1898”
(hereinafter referred to as “the principal Act”
).
2 Annual membership fee.
In addition to the fees specified in the Eighth Schedule to the principal Act, there shall be payable, on or before the first day of August in each year, by every registered chemist an annual membership fee of ten shillings.
3 Erasure from Register on non-payment.
It shall be lawful for the Board to erase from the Register the name of any registered chemist who fails to pay such annual fee within twelve months after the same becomes due.
4 Re-registration.
If at any time after such erasure the person whose name was so erased applies to the Board to be reinstated as a registered chemist, his name shall be re-entered on the Register on payment by him of the registration fee fixed by the said Eighth Schedule.
