An Act to amend “The School Committees Election Act, 1891.”

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1 Short Title.

The Short Title of this Act is “The School Committees Election Act, 1903.”

2 Amendment of “The School Committees Election Act, 1891.”

“The School Committees Election Act, 1891” (herein referred to as “the said Act”), is hereby amended by the addition of the following proviso to section three of the said Act:—

“Provided that in the case of husband and wife any qualification possessed by either of them shall be deemed to be possessed by each of them.”

3 Repeal.

Section twelve of the said Act is hereby amended by repealing subsection two.
