The Short Title of this Act is “The Canterbury Agricultural College Reserves Act, 1905.”

The Canterbury Land Board may sell to the Governors of the Canterbury Agricultural College all that area of land known as Runs 61a and 62a, Hakataramea, containing sixteen thousand seven hundred acres, more or less, or any such less area as may be agreed on between the said Board and the said Governors, at such price as may be agreed on as aforesaid.

Notwithstanding anything in “The Land Act, 1892,” the said Board may accept a price less than the minimum price prescribed by that Act.

The said Governors may sell to His Majesty all those areas of land known as Run 61 and Run 62, Hakataramea, containing twenty thousand six hundred acres, more or less, or any such less area as may be agreed on between the said Board and the said Governors, at such price as may be agreed on as aforesaid.

If the Board and Governors aforesaid fail within twelve months after the passing of this Act to come to any agreement for the carrying-out of the two last preceding sections, or either of them, the Governor may acquire from the said Governors, under “The Land for Settlements Consolidation Act, 1900,” all those areas of land known as Run 61 and Run 62, Hakataramea, and may dispose of the same, and also of the said Runs 61a and 62a, in the manner prescribed by that Act.
