The Short Title of this Act is “The Workers’ Dwellings Act Amendment Act, 1905”; and it shall form part of and be read together with “The Workers’ Dwellings Act, 1905” (hereinafter referred to as “the principal Act”).

The Governor may from time to time, by Order in Council gazetted, set apart under the principal Act the Polhill Gully and the Forts Reserve, Miramar, and any other land reserved for defence purposes that in his opinion is not required for such purposes, in the same manner as if the same were ordinary Crown land.

Section four of the principal Act is hereby amended by repealing the words “three hundred pounds,” and substituting in lieu thereof the words “three hundred and fifty pounds if constructed of wood, or four hundred pounds if constructed of brick, stone, or concrete.”
