An Act to amend “The Victoria College Act, 1905.”
BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—
1 Short Title.
The Short Title of this Act is “The Queen’s Scholarships Act, 1906”
; and it shall form part of and be read together with “The Victoria College Act, 1905.”
2 Treasury to pay Queen’s Scholarships.
The Colonial Treasurer shall, without further appropriation than this Act, pay out of the Consolidated Fund to the Council, after the end of each quarter, the amounts payable to the holders of junior and senior Queen’s Scholarships.
3 Section 37 of principal Act amended.
Section thirty-seven of “The Victoria College Act, 1905,”
is hereby amended by repealing the words “(including all expenses of and incidental to the Queen’s Scholarships),”
and also the words “two hundred.”
