Decimal Currency Act Commencement Order 1967

These regulations are administered in the Treasury.

  • Preamble

    WHEREAS by subsection (3) of section 1 of the Decimal Currency Act 1964 it is provided that Parts 2 and 3 of that Act shall come into force on a date to be appointed by the Governor-General by Proclamation:

    Now, therefore, pursuant to the said Act, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as follows:

  • This Proclamation may be cited as the Decimal Currency Act Commencement Order 1967.
