Judicature Amendment Act 1969: repealed, on 1 January 2018, pursuant to section 182 of the Senior Courts Act 2016 (2016 No 48).

An Act to amend the Judicature Act 1908

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1 Short Title

This Act may be cited as the Judicature Amendment Act 1969, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Judicature Act 1908 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).

Section 2 was repealed, as from 20 October 1972, by section 17(3) Judicature Amendment Act 1972 (1972 No 130).

[Repealed]

Section 3 was repealed, as from 27 November 1970, by section 3(5) Judicature Amendment Act 1970 (1970 No 72).

4 Appointment of Hon Mr Justice Henry

The Honourable Trevor Ernest Henry, who was appointed to be a Judge of the Supreme Court for a limited period on the 21st day of February 1955 and who was appointed permanently on the 23rd day of May 1955, shall be deemed for the purposes of section 76 of the Government Superannuation Fund Act 1956 to have been appointed as a Judge within the meaning of section 75 of that Act on the 21st day of February 1955.

This section was amended, as from 1 November 1976, by substituting a reference to the Government Superannuation Fund Act 1956 for a reference to the Superannuation Act 1956, by section 3(3) Government Superannuation Fund Amendment Act 1976 (1976 No 30).
