This order is administered in the Justice Department.
PURSUANT to subsection (5) of section 4 of the Judicature Amendment Act 1977 and to subsection (5) of section 61A of the Judicature Act 1908 (as inserted by section 8 of the Judicature Amendment Act 1977), His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

1 Title
This order may be cited as the Judicature Amendment Act Commencement Order 1977.
2 Commencement of section 4 of the Judicature Amendment Act 1977
Section 4 of the Judicature Amendment Act 1977 shall come into force on the 1st day of March 1978.
3 Commencement of section 61A of the Judicature Amendment Act 1908
Section 61A of the Judicature Act 1908 (as inserted by section 8 of the Judicature Amendment Act 1977) shall have effect from the 31st day of January 1978.
