An Act to amend the New Zealand University Act, 1908.
BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—
1 Short Title.
This Act may be cited as the New Zealand University Amendment Act, 1912, and shall form part of and be read together with the New Zealand University Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).
2 Diploma in Public Health.
(1.)
In addition to the powers conferred on it by the principal Act, the Senate shall have power to confer a Diploma in Public Health.
(2.)
Diplomas in Public Health may be conferred either after examination or as ad eundem diplomas.
Power to make regulations.
(3.)
The Senate shall have power from time to time to make regulations prescribing the subjects of examination for such diplomas, the manner of granting the same, the fees to be charged therefor, and generally with respect to such other matters as are necessary for carrying this section into effect.
