An Act to amend the Harbours Act, 1908.
BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—
1 Short Title.
This Act may be cited as the Harbours Amendment Act, 1913, and shall form part of and be read together with the Harbours Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).
2 Section 18 of Amendment Act, 1910, amended.
Section eighteen of the Harbours Amendment Act, 1910, is hereby amended by adding, after subsection two, the following subsection:—
“(2A.)
When a non-elective member vacates his office on the Board through the operation of the last preceding section the Governor shall, by warrant under his hand, appoint some qualified person in his place.”
