This Act may be cited as the Imprisonment for Debt Limitation Amendment Act 1914, and shall form part of and be read together with the Imprisonment for Debt Limitation Act 1908 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).

The Court making any order of committal under the principal Act, or the High Court or any Judge thereof, may, at any time before or after the execution of any warrant issued under or by virtue of any committal order, if under the special circumstances of the particular case the Court or Judge thinks fit so to do, grant a rehearing of the application whereon such committal order was made, and may in the meantime stay proceedings under such committal order, and may at any such rehearing vary or cancel such order, and cancel any warrant issued thereunder, or make such further or other order as the Court or Judge thinks fit.
