This Act may be cited as the Gaming Amendment Act, 1914, and shall form part of and be read together with the Gaming Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).

The Minister of Internal Affairs may, on the application of any racing, trotting, or hunt club not being the holder of a totalizator license, grant to that club a license to use the totalizator on one day.

Not more than thirty-one licenses may be granted under this section in any year, and of that number not more than fifteen shall be granted to racing clubs, nor eight to hunt clubs, nor eight to trotting clubs.

Licenses may be granted under this section notwithstanding that thereby the total number of days on which the totalizator may be used exceeds the number prescribed by section six of the Gaming Amendment Act, 1910.
