An Act to continue the Operation of certain Expiring Enactments.

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1 Short Title.

This Act may be cited as the Expiring Laws Continuance Act, 1918.

2 Operation of certain expiring enactments continued.

So much of the enactments mentioned in the Schedule hereto as are for the time being unrepealed shall continue in force until the thirty-first day of August, nineteen hundred and nineteen, and shall then expire, unless further continued.

3 Part I of Monopoly Prevention Act, 1908, revived.

(1.)

Part I of the Monopoly Prevention Act, 1908, is hereby revived as from the commencement of the thirty-first day of December, nineteen hundred and fifteen, and shall be deemed to have been in force on and after that date accordingly, and shall continue in force until the thirty-first day of August, nineteen hundred and nineteen, and shall then expire unless further continued.

Repeal.

(2.)

The Monopoly Prevention Amendment Act, 1913, is hereby repealed.

4 Repeal.

The Expiring Laws Continuance Act, 1917, is hereby repealed.
