This Act may be cited as the Statutes Repeal and Expiring Laws Continuance Act, 1919.

The enactments mentioned in the First Schedule hereto are hereby revived as from the date of the expiry thereof, and shall be deemed to have been continuously in force thereafter.

The enactments mentioned in the Second Schedule hereto shall continue in force until the thirty-first day of August, nineteen hundred and twenty, and shall then expire unless further continued.

The enactments mentioned in the Third Schedule hereto are hereby repealed to the extent indicated in that Schedule.

Section thirty-two of the Appropriation Act, 1916, is hereby amended by omitting the word “six” before the word “months” in subsection one and also in subsection four, and in each case substituting the word “twelve.”
