An Act to vest certain Land in the Town of Westport in the Nelson Education Board as a Site for a Technical School.

Preamble
WHEREAS by the Westport Public Parks Vesting Act 1913, the land described in the Schedule hereto is vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Westport as pleasure-grounds within the meaning of section two hundred and ninety-nine of the Municipal Corporations Act 1908: And whereas it is desired to vest the said land in the Nelson Education Board as a site for a technical school:
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—
1 Short Title
This Act may be cited as the Westport Technical School Site Act 1919.
2 Land vested in Board as site for technical school
The land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby vested in the Education Board of the District of Nelson as a site for a technical school.
3 Schedule 2 to Westport Public Parks Vesting Act 1913, repealed, and another substituted

Section 3 was repealed, as from 6 November 1924, by section 142(3) of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act (1924 No 55).
Schedule
ALL that parcel of land, containing by admeasurement 6 acres, being part of Section 1002, Town of Westport: bounded on the north by Section 12, Block III, Kawatiri Survey District, 743.6 and 222 links; on the east by other part of Section 1002, 622.8 links; on the south by Orowaiti Road, 208 links, and by Cobden Street, 757.3 links; and on the west by Derby Street, 625 links, to the commencing-point: be the said area and linkages a little more or less.
