An Act to amend the Peel Forest Act, 1926.
BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—
1 Short Title.
This Act may be cited as the Peel Forest Amendment Act, 1927, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Peel Forest Act, 1926 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).
2 Extending provisions of principal Act to enable local authorities to contribute to funds of Peel Forest Board.

Subsection one of section six of the principal Act is hereby amended by omitting the words “Each of the following local authorities—namely, the Geraldine and Ashburton County Councils, and the Timaru, Temuka, Geraldine, and Ashburton Borough Councils,”
and substituting the words “Any local authority any part of whose district is situated within that portion of the Canterbury Land District that lies between the Rakaia River and the Waitaki River.”

Subsection four of section six of the principal Act is hereby consequentially amended by omitting the word “mentioned,”
and substituting the words “referred to.”
