An Act to amend the Licensing Act, 1908.
BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—
1 Short Title.
This Act may be cited as the Licensing Amendment Act, 1933.
2 Principal Act amended.
Subparagraph (i) of paragraph (a) of section one hundred and forty-six and section two hundred and seventy-three of the Licensing Act, 1908, are hereby amended by adding thereto the following proviso:—
“Provided that advertising of liquor in any newspaper (whether published in or out of a no-license area) shall not be deemed to be the soliciting of orders for liquor within the meaning of this section.”
