An Act to postpone the Election of a Licensing Committee for the Invercargill Licensing District.

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1 Short Title.

This Act may be cited as the Invercargill Licensing Committee Act, 1944.

2 Date to be appointed by Governor-General for election of Invercargill Licensing Committee.

The day to be appointed by the Governor-General under section ten of the Licensing Amendment Act, 1910, for the first election of the elective members of a Licensing Committee for the Invercargill Licensing District shall be such day as the Governor-General in his discretion thinks fit, being not later than the twelfth day of September, nineteen hundred and forty-four.
