An Act to Amend the Stock Act, 1908.
BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—
1 Short Title.
This Act may be cited as the Stock Amendment Act, 1950, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Stock Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).
2 Annual return of sheep.
Section fifty-two of the principal Act is hereby amended—
(a)
By omitting from subsection one the words “May in every year”
, and substituting the words “July in the year nineteen hundred and fifty-one and in every year thereafter’’:
(b)
By omitting from subsection one the word “April”
, and substituting the word “June”
:
(c)
By omitting from subsection two the words “within the twelve months since”
, and substituting the words “since the date as at which
3 Repeal.
Section forty-six of the principal Act is hereby repealed.
