This Act may be cited as the Dairy Products Marketing Commission Amendment Act 1951, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Dairy Products Marketing Commission Act 1947 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).

Section twenty-five of the principal Act is hereby amended by omitting from paragraph (a) and paragraph (b) of subsection one the words “outside New Zealand”, and substituting in each case the words “whether within or outside New Zealand”.

All purchases of houses in New Zealand by the Commission for the use of its officers, and all advances made by the Commission to its officers for the purpose of enabling them to purchase houses in New Zealand for their own use, made before the passing of this Act are hereby validated and declared to have been lawfully made.
