An Act to amend the Licensing Act 1908.
BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
1 Short Title.
This Act may be cited as the Licensing Amendment Act 1953, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Licensing Act 1908 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).
2 Certain licences may be held by corporations.
It shall be lawful and be deemed to have always been lawful to grant, renew, or transfer to a corporation a licence under the principal Act of any of the following descriptions, namely:
(a)
Packet licences:
(b)
Wholesale licences:
(c)
Wine makers’ licences:
(d)
Wine sellers’ licences.
