An Act to amend the Canterbury University College Act 1933.
BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
1 Short Title.
1933, No. 27
This Act may be cited as the Canterbury University College Amendment Act 1953, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Canterbury University College Act 1933 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).
2 Employees of Council as members.
Section seven of the principal Act is hereby amended by adding to subsection one the words “or a member appointed by the full time lecturers of the College who are not members of the Professorial Board”
.
