An Act to amend the Nelson College Act 1858.

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1 Short Title.

This Act may be cited as the Nelson College Amendment Act 1954.

This Act, and section thirty-eight of the Finance Act 1931 (No. 2), shall be read together with and deemed part of the Nelson College Act 1858.

2 Constitution of Council of Governors of Nelson College.

Section thirty-eight of the Finance Act 1931 (No. 2) is hereby amended by omitting from subsection one the words “One Governor appointed by the Nelson Agricultural and Pastoral Association Incorporated”, and substituting the words “One Governor appointed by the Federated Farmers of New Zealand (Nelson Province) Incorporated”.
