An Act to amend the Public Revenues Act 1953
BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
1 Short Title and commencement
(1)
This Act may be cited as the Public Revenues Amendment Act 1957, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Public Revenues Act 1953 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).
(2)
This Act shall be deemed to have come into force on the nineteenth day of November, nineteen hundred and fifty-six.
2 Salary of Controller and Auditor-General
(1)
Section fifteen of the principal Act (as amended by section two of the Public Revenues Amendment Act 1956) is hereby further amended by omitting the words “two thousand six hundred pounds”
, and substituting the words “two thousand six hundred and forty pounds”
.
(2)
Section two of the Public Revenues Amendment Act 1956 is hereby repealed.
