Pursuant to section 2(1) of the Criminal Investigations (Bodily Samples) Amendment Act 2003, Her Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.
1 Title
This order is the Criminal Investigations (Bodily Samples) Amendment Act 2003 Commencement Order 2004.
2 Commencement of Criminal Investigations (Bodily Samples) Amendment Act 2003
The Criminal Investigations (Bodily Samples) Amendment Act 2003 (except sections 9 and 49) comes into force on 15 April 2004.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order brings the Criminal Investigation (Bodily Samples) Amendment Act 2003 (except sections 9 and 49) into force on 15 April 2004. Sections 9 and 49 previously came into force on the day after that Act received the Royal assent.
Issued under the authority of the Acts and Regulations Publication Act 1989.
