An Act to amend the Emergency Regulations Act 1939

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1 Short Title

This Act may be cited as the Emergency Regulations Amendment Act 1958, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Emergency Regulations Act 1939 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).

2 Emergency regulations continued in force

The emergency regulations specified in the Schedule to this Act, unless they are sooner revoked by the Governor-General in Council or by any Act, shall continue in force until the thirty-first day of December, nineteen hundred and fifty-nine, and shall then expire.

3 Repeal

The Emergency Regulations Amendment Act 1957 is hereby repealed.
