An Act to amend the Electrical Supply Authorities Association Act 1930

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1 Short Title

This Act may be cited as the Electrical Supply Authorities Association Amendment Act 1958, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Electrical Supply Authorities Association Act 1930 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).

2 Association may establish welfare fund

Section eleven of the principal Act is hereby amended by adding the following paragraph:

“(f)

To arrange, manage, and administer a scheme or fund for the purpose of providing financial benefits for or promoting the welfare of employees or the dependants of employees of such members of the Association as wish to participate in the said scheme or contribute to the said fund, and to require contributions from those members, invest any surplus money, and make disbursements to the employees or dependants becoming entitled thereto.”
