The Minister may from time to time, either generally or particularly, by writing under his hand delegate to the Commissioner of Inland Revenue the power conferred on the Minister by section eight of this Act to pay to any claimant any money paid into the Public Account under this Act, not exceeding the sum of fifty pounds in the case of any one claimant.

Where the Commissioner purports to act pursuant to any delegation under this section, he shall, in the absence of proof to the contrary, be presumed to be acting in accordance with the terms of the delegation.

Every delegation under this section shall be revocable in writing at will, and no such delegation shall prevent the exercise of the power by the Minister.

Every such delegation shall, until it is revoked, continue in force according to its tenor, notwithstanding that the Minister may have ceased to hold office, and shall continue to have effect as if made by his successor in office.”
