An Act to amend the Electric Power Boards Act 1925

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1 Short Title

This Act may be cited as the Electric Power Boards Amendment Act 1960, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Electric Power Boards Act 1925¹ (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).

2 Board may acquire interest in land for certain purposes

Section 122 of the principal Act is hereby amended by adding the following subsection:

“(4)

For the purposes of this section the term ‘land’ shall be deemed to include and to have always included any estate or interest, whether freehold or chattel, in real property.”
