An Act to amend the Potato Growing Industry Act 1950

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1 Short Title

This Act may be cited as the Potato Growing Industry Amendment Act 1960, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Potato Growing Industry Act 1950 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).

2 Time for laying information

Section 29 of the principal Act is hereby amended by adding the following subsection:

“(3)

Notwithstanding anything in section 14 of the Summary Proceedings Act 1957, any information in respect of any offence against this Act may be laid at any time within twelve months from the time when the matter of the information arose.”
