This Act may be cited as the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Amendment Act (No. 2) 1961, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act 1954¹ (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).

Section 19 of the principal Act (as amended by subsection (1) of section 3 of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Amendment Act 1960) is hereby further amended by omitting from subsection (1) the words “four thousand pounds”, and substituting the words “four thousand two hundred and fifty pounds”.

Section 20 of the principal Act (as amended by subsection (2) of section 3 of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Amendment Act 1960) is hereby further amended by omitting from the second proviso to subsection (3) the words “four thousand pounds”, and substituting the words “four thousand two hundred and fifty pounds”.

Section 3 of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Amendment Act 1960 is hereby amended—

This section shall be deemed to have come into force on the first day of April, nineteen hundred and sixty-one.
