This Act may be cited as the Poultry Runs Registration Amendment Act 1961, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Poultry Runs Registration Act 1933 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).

Section 3 of the principal Act is hereby amended by omitting from subsection (4) the words “two years”, and substituting the words “three years”.

Notwithstanding the provisions of subsection (1) of this section, the term of office of every member of the Board in office immediately before the commencement of this section shall expire on the date on which, but for the passing of this section, his term would have expired under the provisions of the principal Act.
