This order may be cited as the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act (New Organisms) Commencement Order 1998.

The following provisions of the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act 1996 come into force on 29 July 1998 for the purpose of applying the Act to new organisms and, in particular:
