An Act to amend the Historic Places Act 1954
BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
1 Short Title
This Act may be cited as the Historic Places Amendment Act 1964, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Historic Places Act 1954 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).
2 Membership of Trust
Section 5 of the principal Act is hereby amended by repealing paragraph (e) of subsection (1), and substituting the following paragraph:
“(e)
One member to be appointed on the nomination of the Vice-Chancellors’ Committee constituted under section 46 of the Universities Act 1961.”
This Act is administered in the Department of Internal Affairs.
