An Act to amend the Finance Act (No. 3) 1934 in relationto the control of the Customs over imported spirits
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
1 Short Title
This Act may be cited as the Customs Amendment Act 1965, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Customs Act 1913.
2 Restriction on importation of immature spirits
Section 31 of the Finance Act (No. 3) 1934 is hereby amended by omitting from subsection (2) the words “five years”
, and substituting the words “five years in the case of brandy and whisky and two years in the case of rum”
.
This Act is administered in the Customs Department.
