An Act to amend the Oaths and Declarations Act 1957
BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
1 Short Title
This Act may be cited as the Oaths and Declarations Amendment Act 1965, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Oaths and Declarations Act 1957 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).
2 Declarations before local authority officers
Section 9 of the principal Act is hereby amended—
(a)
By inserting in subsection (1), after the words “service of the Crown”
, the words “, or of a local authority within the meaning of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956,”
:
(b)
By inserting in subsection (2), after the words “service of the Crown”
in both places where they occur, the words “, or of a local authority,”
.
