An Act to amend the Auckland Grammar School Act 1899
BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
1 Short Title
This Act may be cited as the Auckland Grammar School Amendment Act 1966, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Auckland Grammar School Act 1899 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).
2 Repealing certain provisions relating to Auckland Grammar Schools Board
(1)
Section 4 of the principal Act (as substituted by section 3 of the Auckland Grammar School Amendment Act 1955) is hereby amended by omitting from paragraph (e) the words “in the manner for the time being prescribed by the scheme for the control of the schools approved by the Minister under section ninety-two of the Education Act 1914”
.
(2)
The principal Act is hereby further amended by repealing sections 5, 6, 6A, 8, 9,10, and 11.
(3)
The Auckland Grammar School Amendment Act 1955 is hereby consequentially amended by repealing sections 4 and 5.
This Act is administered in the Department of Education.
