An Act to amend the Engineers Registration Act 1924

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1 Short Title

This Act may be cited as the Engineers Registration Amendment Act 1966, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Engineers Registration Act 1924.

2 Local authorities to employ registered engineers

Section 8 of the Engineers Registration Amendment Act 1944 is hereby amended by omitting from the first proviso to subsection (2) the words “ten thousand pounds”, and substituting the words “forty thousand pounds”.

This Act is administered in the Ministry of Works.
