An Act to amend the Stock Remedies Act 1934

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1 Short Title

This Act may be cited as the Stock Remedies Amendment Act 1966, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Stock Remedies Act 1934 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).

2 Extending the registration period of stock remedies

(1)

Notwithstanding anything in section 6 of the principal Act or section 2 of the Stock Remedies Amendment Act 1965 or any certificate of registration issued under the principal Act, the period for which any stock remedy is registered shall, in the case of any registration that is in force immediately before the date of the passing of this Act, or is effected on or after that date but not later than the thirty-first day of December, nineteen hundred and sixty-seven, expire with the thirty-first day of December, nineteen hundred and sixty-seven.

(2)

The Stock Remedies Amendment Act 1965 is hereby repealed.

This Act is administered in the Department of Agriculture.
