An Act to amend the Technicians Certification Act 1958
BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
1 Short Title
This Act may be cited as the Technicians Certification Amendment Act 1966, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Technicians Certification Act 1958 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).
2 Insurance of members, etc.
The principal Act is hereby amended by inserting, after section 12, the following section:
“12a
The Authority may from time to time enter into contracts of insurance insuring members of the Authority, members of any Executive Committee, members of any subcommittee appointed by an Executive Committee, and any person co-opted to advise or assist any Executive Committee, against loss from personal accident arising out of and in the course of the exercise and performance of their powers and duties as such, and may pay the premiums payable in respect of any such contracts.”
This Act is administered in the Department of Education.
