An Act to amend the New Zealand Counties Association Act 1949

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1 Short Title

This Act may be cited as the New Zealand Counties Association Amendment Act 1967, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the New Zealand Counties Association Act 1949 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).

2 Honorarium of President

(1)

Section 8 of the principal Act (as amended by section 2(1) of the New Zealand Counties Association Amendment Act 1956 and by section 7(1) of the Decimal Currency Act 1964) is hereby further amended by omitting from subsection (2) the words “eight hundred dollars”, and substituting the words “one thousand two hundred dollars”.

(2)

The New Zealand Counties Association Amendment Act 1956 is hereby consequentially repealed.
