An Act to amend the New Zealand Loans Act 1953
BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
1 Short Title
This Act may be cited as the New Zealand Loans Amendment Act 1967, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the New Zealand Loans Act 1953 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).
2 Agreements with Bank of England and other banks
The principal Act is hereby amended—
(a)
By omitting from section 41 the words “Governor-General in Council”
in both places where they occur, and substituting in each case the word “Minister”
:
(b)
By omitting from section 42 the words “Governor-General in Council”
, and substituting the word “Minister”
.
3 Audit Office to furnish annual certificate
Section 55 of the principal Act is hereby amended by omitting from paragraph (b) the words “and the aggregate amount repaid under that paragraph between the commencement of this Act and the end of that financial year”
.
This Act is administered in The Treasury.
