An Act to amend the Real Estate Agents Act 1963

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1 Short Title

This Act may be cited as the Real Estate Agents Amendment Act 1967, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Real Estate Agents Act 1963 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).

2 Regulations as to fees

Section 83 of the principal Act is hereby amended as from its commencement by adding to paragraph (c) of subsection (1) the words “requiring any fee to be paid at the time of the filing of the relevant application, and providing for a refund of the fee or a specified part thereof if the application is refused or is withdrawn”.

This Act is administered in the Department of Justice.
