An Act to amend the National Art Gallery and Dominion Museum Act 1930
BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
1 Short Title
This Act may be cited as the National Art Gallery and Dominion Museum Amendment Act 1967, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the National Art Gallery and Dominion Museum Act 1930 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).
2 Travelling allowances
The principal Act is hereby amended by inserting, after section 16, the following section:
“16a
“(1)
The Board is hereby declared to be a statutory Board within the meaning of the Fees and Travelling Allowances Act 1951.
“(2)
There shall be paid out of the funds of the Board to the members of the Board and to the members of the committees of management appointed under section 15 of this Act travelling allowances and expenses in accordance with the provisions of the Fees and Travelling Allowances Act 1951, and the provisions of that Act shall apply accordingly.”
3 Unauthorised expenditure by Board
Section 30 of the Statutes Amendment Act 1942 (as amended by section 7(1) of the Decimal Currency Act 1964) is hereby further amended by omitting the words “forty dollars”
, and substituting the words “six hundred dollars”
.
