An Act to amend the Rural Housing Act 1939
BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
1 Short Title
This Act may be cited as the Rural Housing Amendment Act 1968, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Rural Housing Act 1939 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).
2 Registration of charges
The principal Act is hereby amended by inserting, after section 5, the following section:
“5a. Where any charge in respect of an advance under this Act is registered under the Statutory Land Charges Registration Act 1928 the Registrar shall record a memorial of the charge on the duplicate grant, certificate of title, or other instrument evidencing title to the estate or interest against which the charge is registered, unless he dispenses with the production of that grant, certificate, or instrument under section 44 of the Land Transfer Act 1952.”
This Act is administered in the State Advances Corporation of New Zealand.
