An Act to amend the Police Offences Act 1927
BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
1 Short Title
This Act may be cited as the Police Offences Amendment Act 1969, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Police Offences Act 1927 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).
2 Delivery of bread on Sundays
Section 18 of the principal Act is hereby amended by inserting, after subsection (3b), the following subsection:
“(3c)
Nothing in subsection (1) or subsection (2) of this section shall apply to the sale or delivery of bread for sale or use in any shop within the meaning of the Shops and Offices Act 1955 in which bread may lawfully be sold on Sunday.”
This Act is administered in the Department of Justice.
