An Act to amend the Commissions of Inquiry Act 1908

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealandin Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, asfollows:

1 Short Title

This Act may be cited as the Commissions of Inquiry Amendment Act 1970, and shall be read togetherwith and deemed part of the Commissions of Inquiry Act1908 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).

2 Appointment of Commissions of Inquiry

Section 2 of the principal Act (as substituted by section 2(1) of the Commissions of Inquiry Amendment Act 1958) is hereby amended by adding the following paragraph:

“(f)

Any other matter of public importance.”

This Act is administered in the Department of Internal Affairs.
