An Act to amend the Apprentices Act 1948
BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
1 Short Title
This Act may be cited as the Apprentices Amendment Act 1970, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Apprentices Act 1948 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).
2 Employer of apprentices to keep wages and time book
Section 39 of the principal Act is hereby amended by repealing paragraph (e) of subsection (1), and substituting the following paragraph:
“(e)
The number of hours that he is employed each day, the number of days that he is employed each week, and the times at which he starts and finishes his employment each day:”.
This Act is administered in the Department of Labour.
