An Act to amend the Milk Act 1967

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1 Short Title

This Act may be cited as the Milk Amendment Act 1970, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Milk Act 1967 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).

2 Fixing prices and conditions of sale of milk

Section 25 of the principal Act is hereby amended by omitting subsection (7), and substituting the following subsection:

“(7)

Any notice under this section fixing or determining any prices, margins, or allowances, not already prescribed, or increasing any prescribed prices, margins, or allowances, may be made to operate retrospectively.”

This Act is administered in the Department of Agriculture.
